Select a foundation for the website from the images below. This is the lowest common denominator of a web site and is one of the most important. Design the web site, and/or table structure, to fit the lowest, common screen resolution presently used (2008) 1024x768. Measured in pixels. The 3 foundation formats below should fit 95% of what a business will need.

 

 

Reference: 6/13/06 Note with regard to template images below: Sites are moving towards 1024 x 768 screen resolution as the lowest common denominator. The new design width would be 950 pixels wide as opposed to 760 pixels for 800 x 600 screen resolution.
