Page 10: Tips

  • A web site is never "Finished".
  • Never use an "under construction" graphic or text. Web sites are always under construction.
  • Ask other people to look at the web site before publishing it and listen to feedback.
  • Use spell check.
  • Some things you only see afterwards no matter how hard you look before.
  • If you begin to lose sight or become frustrated, leave your project for a while and then come back.
  • Work logically and be creative.
  • Put one step in front of the other. If you get stuck, find help.
  • Join free and friendly user groups that offer technical assistance.
  • Use search engines to see if you can locate what you need for free or almost free "stuff" including code that you can copy and paste.

We hope this documentation helps you understand the process of building a web site and we hope others can use this information to build a web site on their own.

With best regards,

RealTourNet
